After weeks of preparation, we’re off. 26 hours and a hop across the Pacific Ocean later, we find ourselves landing in the wee hours of the morning (exactly 12 hours behind our time in the Philippines), to the quiet mist of Stratford, and the warm welcome of Rotarian Bob Runde and his lovely wife Lorraine. Later today we’ll be having a welcome brunch, and be meeting with our host families.
The journey has definitely begun.
